Question time at South Wootton

VILLAGERS in South Wootton will have the opportunity to question their MP and local councillors at an event on Saturday.

The parish council is holding a drop-in session where residents can meet the people representing them at all levels of Government, including North West Norfolk MP Henry Bellingham and parish, borough and county councillors.

South Wootton Parish Council is also due to receive its Quality Council Status award at the event, after it successfully completed a portfolio to the quality control accreditation panel.

It is only the fourth parish council in West Norfolk and the 15th in the whole of the county to make the grade and the presentation will be made by Mrs Shirley Matthews, president of the Norfolk County Association of Parish and Town Councils.

The event will be held at the parish meeting room in Church Lane between 10am and 12.30pm.
