Saddle sore for a good cause

CAMPAIGN Care '94 enjoyed another successful annual sponsored cycle ride on the tenth anniversary of the popular fundraising event.

The 16-mile route was tackled by 21 participants who helped raise in excess of 1,000 by cycling from Sandringham to Bircham Windmill and back. Proceeds will be added to money raised at a number of different fundraising activities.

Donations will then be made to Tapping House Hospice and the Bob Champion Cancer Trust.

Campaign Care 94 spokesman Jim Race said: "The weather stayed nice and we had good support from St John Ambulance.

"I think everyone had a good time, one or two were a bit saddle sore but it was a great day."

The charity would like to thank Norwich and Peterborough Building Society for sponsoring the event for the past ten years.
