Salon's a cut above the rest
A LYNN hair salon has celebrated its 25th anniversary with a day's fundraising for The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House.
Images Hair Studio, in Blackfriars Street, marked the milestone birthday by donating 25 per cent of its takings on Saturday, March 15, when staff also organised a fundraising raffle for customers.
Salon owner and manager Mrs Annette McNaught said: “One of my regulars has been supported by The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, and waxes lyrical about what they have done for her. I knew this was something that the team and myself wanted to get involved in and make a difference for.”
The day raised a bumper 1,150 for the Snettisham-based hospice, which offers care to people coping with cancer and other life-limiting conditions, such as Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis.
