SANDRINGHAM: Carol concert cash for needy children
Sandringham’s St Mary Magdalen Church will host a special charity carol concert next Thursday to raise money for disadvantaged children this Christmas.
The festivities have been organised by Ormiston Children and Families Trust, and the event will be hosted by Lady Tollemache, president of the charity.
She said: “The carol concert promises to be a truly special yuletide evening and it will be a great way for people to get in the Christmas spirit.
“We are so grateful to be able to host the event at Sandringham, it’s wonderful to see people supporting Ormiston and the church will be a fantastic setting.”
Guests will enjoy a solo performance by Kate Dowman, the celebrated classical soprano and rising opera star, amid traditional carols and a variety of festive readings.
There will also be a raffle on the night with the opportunity to win a luxury Christmas hamper.
The concert will start at 6pm and tickets cost £25, with all proceeds going to Ormiston. To purchase tickets, please contact Josie Barwick on 01473 724517 or email josie.barwick@ormiston.org
