Slideshow for Remembrance Day

REMEMBRANCE Day activities in Lynn were given an extra boost this year with the support of crew members from Royal Navy mine hunter HMS Brocklesby.

A civic procession left the Town Hall on Sunday ahead of wreath laying at the Tower Gardens war memorial.

The two-minute silence at 11am was marked by both the Last Post and Reveille.

Lynn News photographer Paul Tibbs has captured many memories from this year's activities and put them together in a special slideshow. Just click on the arrow to watch it.

Elsewhere, wreath laying ceremonies were held throughout West Norfolk including at Hunstanton, Swaffham, Downham, Fakenham and Gaywood as those local to the area paid their respects to those who had made the ultimate sacrifice in war.
