Snettisham laptop scam: help sought

POLICE are appealing for help to identify two men who are wanted for questioning in connection with a scam involving the sale of a laptop computer.

Two men, who claimed to be selling a laptop at a car boot sale in Snettisham, left the victim with a 200 case and a bag of potatoes after switching some bags during the transaction.

The men, both white and one with a tattoo on his upper right arm, were driving a black Ford Escort.

Police believe the incident, which happened around 1pm on Sunday, August 26, may be linked to a number of similar crimes across the county in recent weeks.
