SOUTH WOOTTON: Tombola helps centre
Adult education students run a tombola stall outside Asda, South Wootton on Sunday. Students are Lisa Freestone and James Foreman with Diana Goodman, adult education sessional tutor.
A group of adult education students raised £51 when they held a tombola at the Asda store in South Wootton for Marsh Fields Resource Centre, to provide short breaks for children with learning disabilities.
Tutor Diana Goodman, said: “Many of the students went to Marsh Fields when they were younger so it was a nice opportunity for them to give something back. The money was raised as part of the Future Factor Work Skills course, and will be going towards the centre’s gardening project.
“The students had plenty of items left over and will be holding another tombola stall at the store to fundraise for the centre on April 21.”
