Stalwart chips in again

STAUNCH supporters of Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital unit for ill and premature babies have donated £1,100 to the Special Care Baby Appeal.

Michael Legge and friend Nigel Malster, both of Methwold, jointly launched the Special Care Baby Charity seven years ago to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

They have now raised more than 13,000 for it and the most recent donation will boost the 150,000 fund to revamp and expand the unit.

Mr Legge began supporting the unit after his grandson was born prematurely and cared for there.
