SWAFFHAM: Driver seriously injured in crash

Witnesses are being sought over a crash in which a man was seriously injured.

A 21-year-old man from the Swaffham area suffered serious head injuries when the silver Honda Civic he was driving left the B1108 at Bodney, near Watton, and collided with a tree.

The crash happened close to the junction with the A1065 at around 4.45am last Wednesday, February 6.

The driver was initially taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital, but was subsequently transferred to the Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, where his condition was described as critical.

Police want to speak to anyone who either witnessed the crash or who may have seen the way in which the car was driven prior to the accident.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Norfolk Police serious collision investigation team via the non-emergency 101 number.
