Swaffham hit by four burglaries

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after four burglaries in Swaffham within a week.

The first break-in happened in Beachamwell Road between 3.45pm and 4pm on Sunday, October 14.

Last Friday (Oct 19), at about 3.40pm, a house at The Paddocks was entered by the culprit breaking a kitchen window.

The third incident, also on Friday and between 2.15pm and 4pm, happened at an address in Mount Close. Jewellery was stolen.

Finally, on Saturday (Oct 20), between 4.30pm and 5.30pm, a home in Shoemaker's Lane was entered and electrical goods were stolen.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity in these locations or who has information about the break-ins is asked to contact Detective Constable Steve Hunt, at Dereham CID, on 0845 456 4567, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
