Teenager dies in Hilgay accident

A TEENAGER was killed after he was struck by car while walking along the A10 at Hilgay in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday).

The 18-year-old, who is believed to be from the Hilgay area, was walking along the Southery-bound carriageway when there was a collision with a red Honda Civic, which was travelling in the same direction, at around 1.30am near the junction with Ely Road.

He suffered serious injuries and later died at Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
