Tell us who deserves to be winner of our Super Kids awards

TELL us about a Super Kid that YOU know.

Anyone can make a nomination using the form on this page and more than 1,000 in prize money is waiting to be won by outstanding local youngsters. Charities also benefit to the tune of 650 and every child or young person who is nominated receives a certificate and gift voucher.

Lynn News readers have a vital role to play by naming youngsters in West Norfolk who deserve recognition for their kindness, bravery and dedication.

Nominations can be made by relatives, friends, teachers, sports coaches, youth leaders, councillors and parish councillors.

There are three categories:

Achievement at home, at school, for sport, for an organisation or charity;

Personal courage in the face of sickness, disability or some other setback;

Acts of bravery or outstanding initiative in difficult circumstances.

All Super Kids, families and those who nominate them will be invited to a memorable awards ceremony in Lynn Town Hall. The winner of each category will receive 175 and 150 to be donated to their favourite charity.

There will also be an overall winner of Super Kids 2008, who will receive 300 and 200 to donate to his or her chosen good cause.

We need you to make your nominations now. Complete the special form printed in today's Lynn News and include a separate note giving your reasons.

People must have been 16 or under on December 31, 2008. Closing date is Monday, March 2, 2009. Entrants from previous years may be re-nominated. The Editor reserves the right to decide the most appropriate nomination category.
