Thieves raid neighbours' homes
A BURGLAR stole cash, bank cards, mobile phones and jewellery from neighbouring properties in Lynn during two late night raids.
The first target was an address on Loke Road, where the male offender entered the property via an insecure back door while the residents were asleep.
When walking upstairs he was disturbed by the sound of talking after one of the residents woke up.
He ran downstairs and fled the building with bank and credit cards, a Sony Ericsson mobile phone, a quantity of cash, a pair of gold earrings and a Gucci watch.
The raid happened between 11pm and 11.45pm on Tuesday, March 11.
The second incident happened just days later on Saturday, March 15, at an address on Walker Street between 1am and 1.40am.
A man entered the bungalow through an open rear bedroom window and stole a Samsung mobile phone and digital camera.
The intruder was again disturbed after a woman woke up and shouted out, causing him to leave via the kitchen door which leads to an alleyway to Rope Walk and Loke Road.
Witnesses describe the man as white, around six foot tall, of slim build, in his mid to late 20s with short cropped mousy brown coloured hair.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious connected with either incident, or has knowledge of the burglaries, should contact DC Richard Moden at Lynn Police Station on 0845 4564567 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
