Trust asks for opinions on healthcare delivery
PUBLIC meetings are being held at Swaffham later this month inviting people to have their say on Norfolk Primary Care Trust proposals for delivery of healthcare over the next three years.
Excellent Health, Outstanding Care, Best Value is the guiding ethos for the trust's Proposed Vision and Priorities 2008-2011 strategy, which began its three-month pre-consultation process last month.
The trust's aspirations include reducing health inequalities and enabling people to live longer, healthier lives.
Trust chief executive Julie Garbutt said: "We want to ensure our objectives are focusing on the areas of greatest need and so members of the public, along with our key stakeholders, are being asked to tell the PCT if our suggested priorities are the most relevant, or suggest areas that they think should be a priority."
The Swaffham meetings will be held at the EcoTech Centre in Turbine Way on Tuesday, January 29, between 2pm and 4pm and 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
Anyone wanting to go should contact Diana Thurley on 01553 816347 or email diana.thurley@norfolk-pct.nhs.uk
The pre-consultation document can be viewed at Norfolk PCT's website at www.norfolk-pct.nhs.uk
