TV presenter Linda Barker opens new Downham shop
POPULAR interior designer and television personality Linda Barker was the VIP guest at the opening of a new soft furnishings shop at Downham at the weekend.
The Changing Rooms presenter, who also has her own columns in leading home design publications, cut the ribbon to officially launch Charmed Interiors, in Bridge Street.
The Linda Barker designs are among those which are stocked in the new store, which belongs to Jason Sutton and his wife Sam.
Charmed Interiors specialises in soft furnishing, bedding, ready-made and made-to-measure curtains, voiles, curtain tracks and poles, cushions and a selection of gift ideas.

Mr Sutton, who has many years experience in the retail business, said that customers will find a wide range of products at varying prices including some high-end designs such as Monsoon.
"Sam and I decided that there was a gap in the market for this sort of business in the Downham area and it was very exciting to be able to get Linda Barker to perform the opening," he told the Lynn News.
Charmed Interiors is open to the public on weekdays and Saturdays from 9am until 5pm and on Sundays from 10am until 3pm.
