Music, laughter and gasps of amazement resounded around the hall, at Anthony Curton Primary School, Walpole St Peter, as pupils and staff were treated to fantastic performances by some home grown talent.

Children from Key Stage 2 delighted their audience with acts ranging from singing and dancing to gymnastics, instrumentalists, magic and comedians. Hidden talent came to the fore and residing judges, school governors Michael Scott, David Mean and trainee teacher Rhodri Wandock, had a difficult job on their hands.

Hosted in panto style by teacher Jeremy Wilkinson, the event provided an enjoyable addition to the festive activities taking part in school.

Winner of the show, with his amazing singing was Dominic Taylor-Sooley year 5. Runners up were The Ukulele Orchestra and street dancers Alisha Goult year 4 and Millie Asker year 3. A huge well done went to all those who took part.
