Wedding dress "trashed" for fun on TV show
BRIDE Sarah Baldock appeared before 200,000 television viewers on Wednesday, October 8, having her wedding dress trashed with paint.
Mrs Baldock (34), who married Rob at Knights Hill Hotel in July, appeared on the first programme of the new Richard and Judy show on UKTV’s Watch channel.
“It was brilliant,” said Mrs Baldock, ne Hooke, an optometrist at opticians Wigram and Ware in Blackfriars Street, Lynn, and Dersingham.
The “Trash the Dress” craze has come over from America – and Mrs Baldock said she had no regrets.
The 500 ivory, strapless gown would otherwise only have stayed in the loft, said Mrs Baldock, who may now put the dress in a frame.
“There was yellow, blue, red and black and there might have been some green,” said Mrs Baldock, from Sleaford, who had her hair and make-up done for the recording in London.
There was also an unexpected bonus for Mrs Baldock who had her photograph taken with actor Josh Hartnett and Callum Best, son of late footballer George Best.
