An anniversary and a new alliance are being celebrated at a Marshland school this year.

Anthony Curton Primary School at Walpole St Peter is 30 years old in 2013 and has now formed a partnership with the Tilney All Saints Primary School.

Anne Senior, who has been appointed as executive head of both schools, said: “I am extremely privileged to be able to lead Anthony Curton into its 30th anniversary and to be fully involved at the birth of our partnership with our sister school at Tilney All Saints.”

Anthony Curton School’s landmark year will be marked with activities including a “street party” in the playground and a social evening for ex-pupils, parents and members of staff.

The schools are also looking forward to visits from the Bishop of Ely, Stephen Conway, Gordon Boyd of Norfolk Children’s Services and MP Henry Bellingham,

Mrs Senior was joined by Charlie Whitby, left, of Tilney All Saints Primary School, and Ruby Colson and Grace Height, of Anthony Curton School for this photocall.
