WEST NORFOLK: Police continue search for missing Leziate man

Police and coast guard officers are continuing to search for missing man Andrew Simpson today (Wednesday, January 30).

Mr Simpson, 48, was last seen by his brother on January 24, when he left the family home in Leziate for work but failed to return later in the evening.

His vehicle, a silver Vauxhall Astra van, was found parked and secure on Beach Road in Snettisham on January 27.

Police officers along with colleagues from the coastguard have already scoured the Snettisham coastline but are now increasing the search area.

The Lowlands Search and Rescue team are also taking part.

Supt Dave Marshall said: “Officers are continuing to search the area and we would ask anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch.”

Police are also appealing for help in finding Lynn man Darren Siggins, 39, who has been missing since December 27.

Officers say there is now a suggestion that Mr Siggins is in Sherringham and will be putting up posters in the town.
