Woman, 40, dies in Lynn flat

POLICE, paramedics and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to a flat near Lynn town centre after a woman was found collapsed on Saturday afternoon.
But despite efforts to resuscitate her, the 40-year-old woman was pronounced dead in the flat at Stonegate Street, near Hillington Square.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and the air ambulance were sent to the scene shortly after 2pm on Saturday.
Police also went to the flat and yesterday a Norfolk police spokesman said the woman’s death was not being treated as suspicious.
She said: “It was a sudden death and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
An East Anglian Air Ambulance spokesman said: “Anglia 1 was sent to King’s Lynn on Saturday afternoon, but it was stood down en route as its services were no longer needed.”
