Women's world day of prayer

WOMEN in West Norfolk are being invited to join three million worldwide next Friday for the annual Women's World Day of Prayer.

A service written by the Christian women of Guyana in South America is being held at Lynn’s London Road Methodist Church at 2pm, and will be given by the Rev Neil Harper.

Methodist minister Janet Mason will also be giving a service at The Gap in Vong Lane, Pott Row, at 11am. Refreshments will be available afterwards at both events.

Mrs Christine James, of the Lynn branch of the Women’s World Day of Prayer Movement, said although the day is organised and run by women, men and children are also welcome and encouraged to join in.
