Your Big Event - East Anglian Air Ambulance disco
Charity fundraising for the East Anglian Air Ambulance received a further £1,000 boost last Saturday when a disco was held at the masonic Hall, North Lynn.
Organised by Mrs Emma Frost, of Extons Road, Lynn, 110 people attended the event, which included a disco, buffet and bar.
Raffle prizes were donated by local businesses, family and friends, while Mrs Frost's step-mum Mrs Bev Howlett and friend Mrs Mary Ewing helped with food and decorations for the evening.
The disco follows hot on the heels of a previous disco held at the venue for the cause last July, and a 4,000-mile charity trek to Timbukto in a 4x4 carried out by Mrs Frost's dad, John Howlett, and friend, John Ewing, in December.
Another fundraising event was also held at Three Holes, near Wisbech.
So far, around 5,700 has been raised for the cause said Mrs Frost (32), who was pleased how Saturday's event went.
