More than 30 health and community groups were represented at a health roadshow in Swaffham’s Assembly Rooms, which was staged by the Campingland Surgery Patient Group.

Participating groups included the Swaffham Lions, who promoted the movement’s Message in a Bottle initiative.

The scheme is designed to help people living with diabetes, allergies, disabilities and life-threatening illnesses by keeping essential medical details in a bottle in the fridge where they can be found easily in an emergency situation.

Lions welfare chairman David Coker is pictured at the group’s stand, which gave out more than 60 bottles during the day.

Other participating groups included Family Action, LILY, Community Cancer Care, West Norfolk Carers, MIND, Red Cross. Merle Body Centre, Macmillan, Home-start and the Food Bank. Picture submitted
