A motorcyclist who was seriously injured in a collision with a car in a West Norfolk village has died, police have confirmed.
The man, who was in his 20s and who lived in Cambridge, was riding a blue Triumph motorbike when it was involved in a collision with a red Jaguar XF car on the A1122 High Street, Fincham, at about 4.10pm on Sunday.
The rider was airlifted to the Addenbrooke’s hospital in Cambridge, where he died on Tuesday afternoon, a police spokesman said. No-one else was injured.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing and police want to talk to anyone who either saw the crash or either of the vehicles involved before it happened.
The motorbike had been travelling towards Downham when the collision happened, while the car was heading in the opposite direction.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Darren Wynne, of the roads policing unit based at Swaffham, on the non-emergency 101 number (calls cost 15p).
