GAYWOOD: Fall led to woman’s death

An inquest has opened on an 82-year-old Gaywood woman who died three months after a fall at her home.

Joan Clarke was taken to hospital after falling at Lavender Court in September. She was discharged to Lynn’s Goodwins Hall nursing home, where she died on December 19 from bleeding inside the skull caused by the fall.
