Prolific Hunstanton fundraiser David Foulkes, second right in picture, has handed over £220 to the Macmillan Cancer Support charity from two table top sales he held last year.
Marion White, left, who helped him with the sales, presented the cheque to Diana Stevenson, right, and Peter Gohegan and his mother, Betty, at the Corner House baker and tearoom in Hunstanton High Street last week.
Mr Foulkes, 71, of Park Road, also had help at the sales, which took place in August and at the resort’s Christmas lights switch-on night on November 25, from his granddaughter Sara.
He said: “I am hoping to do a bed push around the town this summer from which the money will also go to Lynn branch of the Macmillan Cancer Support charity.
Mr Foulkes has been fundraising for local charities since 1978 and for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in Hunstanton for the past 13 years.
Last year he was thanked by the Queen for sending her photographs of his Dad’s Army wedding re-enactment fundraiser for the Legion along with Diamond Jubilee congratulations.
