Norfolk County Councillors have today voted in favour of accepting the revised project plan for the energy from waste contract which the County Council holds with Cory Wheelabrator and to recommend to Cabinet that it accepts and acts on their decision.
40 County Councillors voted in favour of the motion with 38 against. Six County Councillors were absent.
The final decision about the future of the waste project will be taken at a special extra meeting of Norfolk County Council’s Cabinet which will take place tomorrow (October 29) from 9am at County Hall in the Edwards Room.
