The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, is one of the charities set to benefit from the Bishop of Norwich’s Open Gardens in July.
Cream teas, lawn games, Punch and Judy, storytelling by the Yarnsmith of Norwich and live music with The Old Wild Rovers shanty singers and opera singing by Grace Carter are all lined up for the afternoon.
The hospice’s two friendly bear mascots, Hugh and Harmony, will also be attending and will be organising a treasure hunt for children.
The event takes place on Sunday, July 13, between 1pm and 5pm, with the last entrance at 4.30pm.
Entrance is £3 and free for children and wheelchair users. All visitors will be entered into a free prize draw to win a plant donated by the Bishop’s gardener.
