Hillington Square’s All Saints Church will host a special fundraising concert this Sunday to raise money for the Purfleet Trust, to help support the homeless this festive period.

Organised by borough councillor, Stephanie Smeaton, the Christmas Music Concert will feature local musicians, including West Norfolk Jubilee Youth Orchestra and Springwood Big Band, from 3pm.

Mrs Smeaton said: “A short musical concert, followed by a cup of warm mulled wine to sip as Father Adrian leads the countdown for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony.”

There will be a selection of free refreshments including drinks, foods and Christmas goodies on offer in the Olive Branch Café.

The café is hosting a charity Christmas market on Monday, followed by Santa’s Grotto on Monday, December 23.

This community event is intended for all of the
residents of Hillington Square.
