Plans for nine new pylons and overhead cables which would link a proposed new power station in Lynn with the existing overhead power lines will go before borough councillors on Monday.
West Norfolk Council is a consultee on the plan for a 1.75 mile transmission line of 400,000 volt cables between the proposed King’s Lynn B power station, about which a final decision has still to be made, and the existing power network.
Officers have recommended making no objection to the proposed line, which would connect the proposed station to the existing power line to the Walpole substation.
