Lynn’s Vancouver Quarter reported slightly quieter trading as some shoppers struggled to get into town.
However once in the town centre all shops were open as normal and paths were clear.
All bin collections in West Norfolk were postponed yesterday and householders were asked to leave their uncollected bins outside so they are ready when the service resumes.
Brown bins have not been collected since Thursday. Anyone who has excess garden waste due to the cancellation can get compostable sacks for garden waste by calling 01553 776676,
These will be collected with the brown bin on the next scheduled collection day.
