Once again Clenchwarton’s annual Horticultural show was a bright and vibrant success.
The event, which took place in the village school hall, welcomed almost 300 entrants, displaying the best produce.
With 22 different categories the show itself was awash with colourful floral displays, as well as arts and crafts, photography and preserves.
Club secretary Carol Hale said: “It was a great day. We didn’t have as many entries as last year but with just under 300 it was still a great success.
“We want to say a big thank you to all the ladies who knitted generous blankets, hats and jumpers for charity.”
