The many changes that occurred in Lynn during a 20-year period are documented in a new book.
Popular author and Lynn News columnist Bob Booth is charting the progress of the town between 1960 to 1980 within his new book King’s Lynn in Colour.
He has moved away from his traditional black-and-white format to use stunning colour photographs of street scenes.
Mr Booth has been able to take this new direction thanks to receiving two collections of slides.
He said: “Hopefully this will appeal to a slightly younger generation.
“Many of the pictures are of street scenes.
“It does show how Lynn changed in a short period of time. There are pictures of streets which look completely different now such as Broad Street and New Conduit Street.”
Bob is launching the book on Monday.
It costs £9.99 and will be on sale in Waterstones, WH Smith, True’s Yard and the Record Shop in Lynn.
