Dozens of sports students from the College of West Anglia’s Lynn campus benefitted from the experience of a former Olympic athlete when he led a coaching session.
Paul Evans, who represented Great Britain in the 10,000 metres at the Barcelona and Atlanta Olympics in 1992 and 1996, was joined by more than 60 students for the session last Monday.
During the session he demonstrated various techniques to help them when taking part in different sports, before holding an open session for all students and staff.
Paul, pictured above, coaches at number of centres in the region and also supports the Great East Anglia Run.
Sara Edward, the college’s sport development officer, said: “It was a huge success.
“The feedback I received was extremely positive. The drills Paul did with the students were simple but effective and related to all their individual sports.” MLNF14PT01318
