The final members of the Gayton Badgers scooped top awards for their hard work over the years marking the end of an era as the group is forced to close due to low numbers.

Jake Harvey and Kacey Tinkler, front, achieved their Super Badger Award, while Ollie Shephard, left, and Annabella Sinclair were given their Gold Paw Award. Pictured with them from left are regional youth manager Ian Callaghan, Badger leader Sharon Woodrow and district youth officer Linda Sweeney.

Mrs Woodrow said: “Thank you to all the Badgers who have made this so much fun over the years.”
