Louise Page and Chris Heyes have donated toys and overnight bags to the Rudham children’s ward at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a thank-you to staff for the care they showed their daughter Scarlett when she was twice in their care last year. Louise and Chris raised the money by winning a competition which allowed them to spend some £100 on their chosen charity – and they chose Rudham ward.

The idea for the overnight bags came to Louise after she had to rush Scarlett to hospital. Because she was not expecting to stay overnight she did not have any things with her, so she thought that the bags would help parents in a similar position.
