The managing director of an expanding Lynn firm says the growth will not stop here.
Bespak managing director Keyvan Djamarami is over the moon to have received planning permission earlier this week to build two production and packaging cells at the North Lynn site.
He is hoping to have the buildings constructed and fitted out with equipment in the late summer.
The company is expanding after securing contracts to assemble a nicotine inhalation device and another product, which could create more than 200 jobs in the coming years.
Mr Djamarami said: “It is absolutely fantastic. We are very much looking forward to this. The planning application is a crucial first step to begin to construct the facilities which we need for the production opportunities which will lead to growth.
“My aim is that the growth does not end here. We have a number of products in our development pipeline.
“This is down to the hard work of everyone at the company.”
On Monday, West Norfolk Council’s planning committee approved the firm’s bid to put up two buildings, a 3,673sq m and 6,747sq m, on the Bergen Way site.
Mr Djamrami hopes to preparation building work will start before Christmas.
