BREAKING NEWS - Police search for missing 10-year-old boy in King’s Lynn

POLICE are searching for a 10-year-old boy who went missing from a Lynn primary school this afternoon, Thursday.

Jay Childs, who lives in the town, was last seen leaving the Eastgate primary school in Littleport Terrace at around 3.10pm today.

It is believed he may have been with friends from the school when he was last seen.

He is described as 4 ft 9 ins tall, of average build, with short, shaved mousey hair. He was wearing a red school jumper, black school trousers, a black Manchester United coat and white trainers. He was also carrying a black Manchester United bag.

Police say they are treating Jay as a “medium risk missing person”, but will continue to review the situation.

Officers have been given names and addresses of his school friends and are currently checking them.

Anyone who may have seen Jay or knows of his whereabouts should call the police’s non-emergency 101 number.

Any further updates this evening will be posted via the LynnNewsCitizen Twitter account.
