Phone company BT has apologised to a Thornham business still waiting for a phone connection two months after opening.
Daisley’s Wild Gardens at Drove Orchards complained when engineers failed to attend two appointments after an order was placed for a business line and Broadband.
Pauline Daisley-Brown and her partner, Malcolm Crozier, said the delay was serious setback when the wildflower nursery was just starting out.
A BT spokesman told the Lynn News: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the confusion experienced with engineer visits. The delaying in providing service is due to organising traffic lights in the area before work can be carried out. We hope to be able to provide a date when work can start as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this delay.”
Mr Crozier said: “BT are now keeping us informed about is happening.” He expected to receive an update today. (friday, sept 6)
