Renowned Norfolk-based cartoonist Annie Tempest has unveiled two life-size busts of Lord and Lady Tottering at Burnham Market’s The Hoste.

Brendan Hopkins, owner of The Hoste, said: “Many celebrities have visited The Hoste over the years and we are delighted to add two new superstars to the list. Lord Nelson stayed in the bedroom above the bar, so Lord and Lady Tottering are the latest in a long line of guests to receive a five-star welcome.”

Annie is pictured with her father, Henry, 90, on whom she based her Lord Tottering character in her Tottering By Gently cartoons that have appeared weekly in Country Life for 20 years, whose bust can be seen behind them. She is also pictured with Hoste Arms owner, Bee Hopkins, and signing copies of her new book, Tottering by Gently: The First Twenty Years.
