Reg Turner, who has made calendars featuring the dogs and beauty of Runcton Holme, handed over the proceeds of his work to Macmillan cancer nurse Mary Pursglove last Tuesday.

Mr Turner, 73, a retired owner of a double glazing company, takes the pictures and produces the calendars which are always popular with his fellow villagers. One calender called Runcton Holme Smilers features the dogs found living in his vicinity, while another, Runcton Holme Howlers feature Shetland sheepdogs, or shelties, bred by a local woman. The third calendar features pictures of local scenes.

The presentation of the cheque for £120 was made in the Sacred Space Garden at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The calendars can be ordered direct from Mr Turner on 01553 811938. Picture: SUPPLIED
