Organisers of the King’s Lynn Poetry Festival welcomed this year’s creative talents from as close by as Fakenham, and as far afield as New Zealand, with a glass of champagne.
The collection of award-winning poets included Louis de Berniere – author of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin – with his first collection of poetry.
This year’s festival was the first to take place in Lynn’s Town Hall where poets, including CK Stead, Kit Wright, Rhian Gallagher and Carrie Etter, shared their new collections and discussed their work.
