Children at West Winch Primary School have been taking part in a Roald Dahl themed week.
All classes took part in the activities which included a special Roald Dahl lunch, a Big Friendly Giant (BFG) storyteller and a creative writing competition.
Headteacher, Mark Oldridge, said the competition would develop creative writers, allowing children to write in a relaxed and stimulating environment.
The school is publishing its own creative writing magazine called Write On, which is packed with stories composed by pupils at the school and inspired by the genius as such authors as Roald Dahl.
The prize-winners in the first edition of Write On, for their stories was Year 2 pupil Hallie Bunting, with a tale called Clara and the Magic Fairy Land, and Alex Hall, Year 6, with his story Tale Land.
