A dragon made a special appearance at a Chinese evening.
Freebridge Marshland District Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Young Leaders and Leaders enjoyed the event, which was organised for their Thinking Day celebration. The girls made Chinese-themed crafts and ate a taster meal. They were then entertained by Kwai and Serena from the West Norfolk Chinese Organisation. They also learned about Chinese letters and also had a go Tai Chi, Lion and Dragon dancing.
The girls and leaders then renewed their promise and were given a Fortune bag as they left.
Freebridge Marshland has Rainbow units in Tilney St Lawrence, Terrington St Clement and Clenchwarton, Brownie units in Tilney St Lawrence, Tilney All Saints, Terrington St Clement and West Lynn. Guides meet at Terrington St Clement as well as Rangers.
