The inaugural King’s Lynn Classic Car Day will take place on Sunday, September 14, as part of the Heritage Open Days.
Borough councillor Chris Crofts, who suggested the idea, said: “Hundreds visit for Heritage Open Days and the quay is perfect for lining up the classic cars.”
Cooper Roller Bearings will display the Cooper Car, one of only six made at the factory in the early 1900s. Pictured with the car are, back, from left: Coopers’ Christian Ross, West Norfolk mayor Barry Ayres, West Norfolk cabinet member for health and wellbing, Elizabeth Nockolds, Coopers’ site director Pat Smith. Front left, Chris Crofts and council leader Nick Daubney. Register your car online for display at www.west-norfolk.gov.uk.
