Students at the College of West Anglia are celebrating A-level results that are a huge improvement on last year.
A total of 81.3 per cent of students achieved A*-C grades, a big increase from last year’s 66 per cent.
AS level pass rates, A*-C grades were 41 per cent, compared with 38 per cent last year.
David Pomfret, principal, said: “I am absolutely delighted with these A-level results and would like to congratulate our students and staff on their success. Not only did we achieve a 100 per cent pass rate in all subjects but the big increase in the percentage of students achieving the higher A*-C grades is fantastic news and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and staff alike. These results will also mean that a greater number of our students will be accepted into their first choice university or college.”
