Cycling campaigners have been asked to prioritise areas of footpath they believe should be widened as part of a relief road scheme in Lynn.
West Norfolk Council chiefs held talks with cycling lobby groups over the planned link between Edward Benefer Way and Lynnsport, members heard during Thursday’s meeting.
Alistair Beales, the authority’s cabinet member for regeneration, said the talks had been positive and the groups were now broadly happy with the scheme.
He added: “They have asked for some footpaths to be widened to allow for mixed use. We have asked them to prioritise the areas.”
Meanwhile, Mr Beales said he could not say when plans for a new link between Lynn’s bus and railway stations would be made public, but said consultations were continuing.
