The Lavender Lacemakers of Dersingham played host to fellow lacemakers from France last Thursday.
Having visited the Norfolk group for the first time last year, French lacemaker Nathalie Distante bought along her sister Sophie Delavney this year to illustrate French lace making techniques to the Norfolk club.
Lavender Lacemaker group leader Lynn Hallifax, who organised the visit, said: “It was absolutely brilliant to have the sisters over from France.
“There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and everyone had a really nice time. We hope to see more French lacemakers next year!”
The Lavender Lacemakers meet every Tuesday at Dersingham Social Club between 10am and 3pm, and can often be seen demonstrating their lace making skills at local events.
