A road was closed after a lorry ended up in a ditch near the British Sugar factory.
Emergency services were called to College Road, Wissington at 8.40am yesterday after a truck collided with barriers.
But no-one was injured after the lorry ended up in a dyke .
The road was shut from the Wissington roundabout for most of the day while the truck was recovered.
Firefighters from Swaffham and Downham were called to the scene to make the lorry safe.
College Road reopened at 2.05pm.
The Wissington factory is currently busy as farmers and contractors have begun to lift this year’s sugar beet crop.
n Police and firefighters were called to the A17 at Walopole Cross Keys on Friday after a crash.
A Peugeot 206 and Ford Mondeo collided just after 5pm.
No-one was injured in the incident and the road remained open.
