Mums were given a special treat by their daughters during a pamper session.
Girls from 1st Downham Brownies were treating their mums to hand massages, facial scrubs and even hair styling at the meeting in the Howdale Scout and Guide hut on Tuesday last week.
More than 17 girls and their parents went along to the pamper session, which was organised as part of the girls work towards the Brownie Birthday and Hostess badges.
Leader Helen Richings, who also got a make-over on the night from daughter Anya on the night, was delighted with event’s success.
She said: “It was one of those nights which could have gone on for longer as everyone was having a good time.
“I thought it was a fabulous idea to for the girls to learn how to do hand massages and look after their faces along with cherishing their mums.”
The session, which raised £150 for the unit, was run by Gemma Gore from the Body Shop at Home. She would like to do more fundraising events with other groups in West Norfolk.
She said: “They all loved it and it was nice to watch the mums having time with their daughters.”
